Kids Hooked on Fishing
🐟 PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A STRICTLY CATCH & RELEASE EVENT! 🐟
We want to make it as easy as possible for kids to get out on the water and experience the joy of fishing. You don't need a boat or a garage full of gear to join us—we have you covered!
- Gear Included: Fishing poles, fresh bait, and safety life jackets are provided for all young participants.
- Food & Fun: A free lunch and exciting prize giveaways are provided right after fishing wraps up.
An outdoor event like this wouldn't be possible without our awesome neighbors stepping up to guide the next generation. **We are actively in need of volunteers and additional fishing boats** to get the kids out safely on the water. If you can help mentor or lend a boat for the morning, please reach out!

D.B. Rouse
An Americana musician hailing from the rugged landscapes of Wisconsin, D.B. Rouse has lived the kind of lives most songwriters only read about. Alongside his trusty, hard-working acoustic guitar, affectionately named 'Meal-Ticket', D.B. has crisscrossed the continent gathering stories, experiences, and a fiercely loyal following.
His eclectic musical resume includes stints as a smooth lounge singer on a cruise ship, a singing ranch hand beneath the wide skies near Austin, Texas, and an authentic hobo musician entertaining travelers along the historic Grand Canyon Railway. Through every winding turn on the tracks, he has dedicated himself to writing, refining, and perfecting a completely original catalog of songs and energetic performances.
D.B. Rouse is far more than a musician; he is an all-around entertainer, a sharp-witted poet, and a published novelist. Balancing poignant storytelling with infectious, lighthearted showmanship, his live sets deliver a wild, unforgettable brand of foot-stomping folk that leaves audiences captivated from the first note to the final whistle.
